Casinos That Accept iDebit, and How We Know
Every casino review site claims dozens of iDebit casinos. Most of those lists were written years ago and copied forward. We kept ours short on purpose: a brand gets a spot only if its own cashier, its own banking page or its own payment configuration names iDebit, and the green or grey chip next to each one tells you which of those we saw.

Gaming Club shows up on a lot of “iDebit casino” lists. Its own banking page (February 2026 copy) names Instadebit, a different company with a similar name, with a C$5 minimum. Same idea, separate account. We left it off this list rather than pretend the two are interchangeable.
What the Cashier Actually Shows
Here is Katsubet's public payments page as it loaded for us on 19 October 2026. The orange frame is ours. iDebit sits between Ecopayz and Interac, with no fee, instant processing and a $4,000 ceiling per deposit.
Scroll down the same page and iDebit disappears.
That gap is the single most useful thing to know before you deposit. If you fund the account with iDebit at Katsubet, plan on cashing out by Interac e-Transfer to an email or phone number linked to a Canadian account. For most people that is the same bank anyway, so it costs nothing extra. It does mean the payout leg is checked against your verified name, and a mismatch between the name on your casino profile and the name on the bank account is the usual reason these withdrawals stall.
Ruby Fortune does it the other way round. Its banking page, the January 2026 copy below, files iDebit under “Bank Transfer” and ticks both deposits and withdrawals.
How an iDebit Deposit Goes, Click by Click
Nothing to sign up for in advance. That's the main difference from an e-wallet. The whole thing runs inside one pop-up:
- 1Cashier → iDebit. Type the amount. At Katsubet anything from $10 is accepted.
- 2Pick your bank in the iDebit window. If yours isn't on the list, stop here and use Interac instead.
- 3Log in with your normal online-banking details and approve the debit from chequing. Those details go to iDebit's page, never to the casino.
- 4Back to the casino. The balance updates once the bank confirms. Katsubet lists the processing time as instant.
The usual snag is the browser, not the bank. If a pop-up blocker swallows the iDebit window you'll be left staring at a spinning cashier, so allow pop-ups for the casino domain before you start. Banks that send a one-time code on a new login may also ask for it here, so keep your phone nearby.
iDebit, Interac e-Transfer or Instadebit?
All three move Canadian dollars between your bank and a casino. They differ in what you have to set up and in how reliably the money can come back.
| Separate account? | No, bank login only | No, it's in your banking app | Yes, Instadebit account linked to your bank |
| Katsubet deposit limits | $10 – $4,000 | $10 – $4,000 | Not offered in the table we saw |
| Katsubet withdrawals | Not offered | $30 – $3,000, free | — |
| Casino fee we saw | $0 | $0 | — |
| Where it still turns up | Fewer cashiers each year | Almost every Canadian-facing casino | Older brands such as Gaming Club |
| Best for | Banks or cards that refuse gambling e-Transfers | Default choice, both directions | Players who already have the account |
If your bank happily sends Interac e-Transfers to the casino's payment partner, there's little reason to reach for iDebit at all. Where it earns its place is with banks that block or flag gambling e-Transfers, or when an e-Transfer has hit the daily sending limit and you'd rather not wait until tomorrow.
Why idebit.com Now Talks About the Federal Reserve
Go to idebit.com today and you won't find a word about casinos or Canadian banks. The site now sells FedNow instant-payment processing to American businesses and calls itself a Federal Reserve service provider since 1996.
That surprised us too. In practice the casino checkout still runs: it's what loads when you choose iDebit at Katsubet, and 7Bit's payment configuration was updated in January 2026 with the method still in it. What the change does tell you is that iDebit is not where the growth is. Expect the list above to shrink rather than grow, and keep Interac set up as your fallback even if you prefer iDebit for deposits.
Things Players Ask Us About iDebit
- Does an iDebit deposit count for the welcome bonus?
- We haven't claimed a bonus with iDebit ourselves, so we won't promise it. Bonus terms usually carry an “excluded payment methods” line, and that line changes more often than the cashier does. Read it on the promo page the day you deposit, and if iDebit isn't named there, ask chat to confirm before you pay in.
- Can I withdraw back to iDebit?
- Depends entirely on the casino. Ruby Fortune's banking page says yes. Katsubet says no and sends you to Interac. If two-way iDebit matters to you, ask live chat before your first deposit, not after your first win.
- Is it the same as Instadebit?
- No. The names are a coincidence of the era. Instadebit needs its own account and works like a thin wallet on top of your bank; iDebit is a one-off bank login each time.
- Will my bank block it?
- It can happen, though less often than with credit cards. You're authorising the debit from inside your own online banking, which is a different path from a card payment flagged as gambling. If your bank or credit union isn't in the iDebit list, Interac is the way in.
One last practical tip: whichever method you use, deposit the first time with something small, $10 or $20, and request a small withdrawal straight away. You find out how the payout route behaves while there's very little at stake.
