Yi Chun Chien Doctoral Associate Department of Political Science, University of Toronto
Yi-Chun Chien is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto. She is currently a Doctoral Associate in the Gender, Migration, and the Work of Care Project. Her doctoral dissertation, titled “Rights to Settle: Comparing Migrant Care Worker Policies in Taiwan and South Korea,” investigates the relationship of welfare state, care work and international migration in the context of East Asia. Yi-Chun received her Bachelor degree in Political Science from National Taiwan University and Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
