Phillip Mogodi University of Toronto School of Public Policy and Governance
Phillip Mogodi is a mining engineer, mineral economist and Masters of Public Policy Candidate at the School of Public Policy and Governance and the University of Toronto. Together with Ian Sonshine, he is doing an internship at the Centre of Global Social Policy under the guidance of Dr. Deanna Pikkov and Prof. Ito Peng. He’s particularly focusing on developing the knowledge dissemination and mobilization strategy for the Gender, Migration & Care project. Prior to relocating to Canada, he worked in the mining industry for 8 years and freelanced for more than 4 years as an economist for various organisations in South Africa and United Kingdom.
