We are pleased to announce that our Doctoral Associate, Yi-Chun Chien has received the Chiang Ching-Kuo Foundation Dissertation Fellowship to support her PhD research project “Long-term Care and Migrant Workers: Comparing Migrant Care Worker Policies in Taiwan and South Korea”. The CCKF Fellowship is awarded to Doctoral Candidates in the humanities and social sciences who are completing the last stage of their Ph.D. research and writing their dissertations on topics related to Chinese culture and society. Yi-Chun’s research examines the relationship between welfare states, care work and international migration. Congratulations Yi-Chun!
